There is a call to rest this time of year. If you answer the call, the nervous system, your body, and your soul will restore a natural drive and creative force.
You can come to life even more when you rest deeply.
Maybe you are tired. Bone tired. Deeply exhausted.
Even a full nights sleep, a nap and a weekend off isn’t enough. You wake up monday morning with nothing left to give.
But there is still so much that needs to get done.
I get it. For many of us the high activation, hyper-alertness and stress of life right now is more than our body can manage.
We need Deep Rest but we can’t seem to get it.
For the next four weeks I invite you to join me on Wednesday morning for restorative movement, breath and awareness.
It’s not a reset. It’s not a hack. It’s not a shortcut.
It’s a biological process.

This class will
Use developmental movement patterns to activate the rest response in the Nervous System.
Connect breath, movement and positions associated with recovery and restoration.
Give you tools to use at home, with your family, and anytime to recover lost associations of relaxation in your foundational physiology.
Meet on Zoom Wednesday mornings at 7:30 am EST | 10:30 am EST; November 30th - December 21st
After each class, we will post the replay to Teachable where you will have access to the replays through December 31st.

Let’s explore DEEP REST.
Simple.
I didn’t want to become a personal trainer. I knew from being a professional dancer that whatever I decided to put my mind to, was going to be a life encompassing act.
I don’t do things half way. (except recipes I only follow them partly)
I love moving, exercising, healthy cooking, and being in my body so much that I was worried my passion would be tamed by making fitness a full time endeavor.
What I have discovered is that my passion is doubled when I teach others the subtle art of making fitness work in their own lives.
Fitness is not separate from life, and no trainer has all the answers. Fitness is life and we have to participate. Learning to be in your body in a way that fully expresses the work of your soul in this world is the act of a lifetime.
